Author: masterIn the future i want to get instructional videos up here for my duct tape creations, but i didn’t get that together for this one, so heres some pictures. As shown in the pictures, one thing thats pretty handy about a bag like this is that you can make sheaths and pouches and stuff and tape ‘em to it - and it doesn’t look like crap! The whole thing looks like that!

Author: masterEverything in moderation.
This is a phrase that I have heard throughout my life, but, unlike most other phrases of its sort, I believe that it really carries some meaning. I feel this is particularly significant after my last post, where me second to last thought was, “Not gun crime, not drugs, not car accidents, not planes. McDonalds and PS3 and XBox and wendy’s and KFC and Arbys and NBC and FOX and Wii are killing us by the hunrdreds of thousands.”
So I am forced to make a confession.
I eat at McDonalds.
I know what you’re thinking - everything this hypocrite says is now bogus. Well maybe not that extreme, but the point is there.
The thing about it is - I eat at McDonalds in moderation. I don’t do it every day, or even every week. I may go three weeks without eating there, which is a good policy, because McDonalds is dangerous stuff.
Everything in moderation.
And I mean everything.
Case in point: exercise. There are plenty of people who get so addicted to runners highs so much they end up burning up their knees or build so much muscle they cant touch their arms together. Although it is not nearly as common as what I like to call Americas legal addictions, it is no better, and happens.
Americas legal addictions - Food, alcohol, cigarrettes, tv, video games. As I stated in my last post, these can be just as dangerous as and claim far more lives than and cripple far more people than things like heroine and meth.
But they’re legal. Why?
Money money money. Its all about the money.
That and its a lot easier and accepted to advertise Budweiser on TV than heroine.
Anyway, I digress. The point is that America has legal addictions, and they claim thousands of lives every year, but they get good publicity.
My goal here is to answer the comment on my last post - how we fix it.
While I was thinking about this post, I considered preaching for anarchy or revolution, installing a new world order, but this post is a little more practical.
We fix this problem on a person by person basis. We have to convince a majority of people to live their lives with discipline, not gorging themselves on the buffet of vices that we call modern life. Until we do this, we wont see that legal addiction death rate decrease.
Invite your freinds.

But i do carry my laptop in a chairman mao bag with his picture on it and a phrase in chineese. No, i obviously don’t agree with slaughtering protesters with tanks, otherwise my life would be short.
So what i want to talk about is the cycle of sedentary life in america. And it starts with a story.
So, since is christmas eve, its pretty chilly out. And the other day i was going to go running, and my sweats were too small for me. So i went to walmart to get a new pair. So i walk into walmart and i see an entire wall of sweatpants. Good news for me, right? Wrong.
All the sweat pants were XL, 2XL, 3XL, and get this - 4 and 5 XL.
Now im not gonna sit here and hammer on fat people, if thats the way you choose to live your life, thats your business. My problem is how the cycle is perpetuated.
Now i know two kids that have multiple gaming systems, and every time they get a new one, they get a little bit fatter. Think they’re parents are noticing this pattern and caring? No. Both are recieving new game systems tomorow.
Now im sure they’re parents know more about raising kids than me, but they dont know more about being fit than me, that much is obvious. Thats the perpetuation of the cycle. Thats why i cant find any medium sweatpants on the wall at walmart. Because fat people like sweatpants.
Now comes the hipocracy. Well more like propoganda.
So we’ve all heard about the DARE program right? Drug Resistance Education and Training? Now im drug free and sober, but i have a problem with a big ‘ol cop comin in to my school and tellin me about how drugs are gonna end up killing the c students in my school.
In 2004, 871,500 peole died from heart disease. Eight hundred thousand people. Thats about .26% of the population. In that same year it was estimated that 79,400,000 people had one or more forms of cardiovascular disease. Almost eighty million people. Almost 27% of people, or about one out of four.
IN 2004, 1 OUT OF EVERY 4 PEOPLE HAD A CONDITION THAT CLAIMED THE LIVES OF EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND OF THEM.
In 2004, 20,950 people died from “unintentional poinsoning” a.k.a. illegal drugs + abuse of perscription drugs. Thats about .007% of people.
Lets see…. 21,ooo dead vs. 800,000 dead….. which is more important to sing songs to out kids about?
Well you’re probably saying “thats what we have PE for” Well I’ve got news for you. PE is failing
one out of five children in our society today are overweight. Being overweight is usually due to poor diet and sedentary lifestyle, which breed heart disease - the number one killer in our society today.
Not gun crime, not drugs, not car accidents, not planes. McDonalds and PS3 and XBox and wendy’s and KFC and Arbys and NBC and FOX and Wii are killing us by the hunrdreds of thousands.
And thats why DARE is propoganda, because chances are noone in that room is going to die of illegal drugs, but five of them were overweight, and 5-6 of them will have some form of heart disease according to statistics.

Author: masterMySpace nowadays is a spammy piece of crap. I used to think it was god until I got turned onto Facebook. Now granted you could say Facebook gets a little outrageous with all the pirates vs. vampires vs. zombies vs. pacman crap, but at least it has a professional look and feel. MySpace seems distinctly like the cliqueish halls of a high school that’s been plastered with adds.
All Hail Facebook!
